What's Included?
Individual or Relationship Counselling
Depending on what you would like, Employee Assistance Australia offers 3-6 counselling sessions to each employee and their immediate family members per calendar year. This includes both individual and couples therapy if required. The areas in which counselling is provided include, but are not necessarily limited to, emotional distress, family, marital, trauma, grief and loss as well as behaviour change and skill building programs.
Statistical Reports
If you would like access to our app, you will also receive a report covering basic statistical information on the number of clients that we have provided services to in that quarter, as well as a brief presentation of issues such as work stress, financial concerns, family, etc. You will also receive insight into the intention to quit and if there are any repeating psychosocial hazard concerns that affect the health of your organisation that need to be addressed. These reports are written to maintain confidentiality, and no identifiable information will be reported to respect your employees’ confidentiality and privacy.
Critical Incident Response Support
Professional mental health support for your management staff and employees in the case of a traumatic or critical incident. Our staff can come to your workplace and provide on-site counselling services and workshops to support the team when they need it.
App Access
The app has extensive psychological support such as short courses, wellness challenges, daily journalling and much, much more. We can even create a custom portal for your company, where we can curate content for your team, offer exclusive workplace challenges, and gamify the experience to get the whole company on board!Â
How much does it cost?
Onboarding
Our team wants to make sure your experience is exceptional, and to ensure we cover all of the necessary administrative costs and efforts, we require an initial onboarding fee of $909.09*. This fee covers not only the administrative costs but also includes an onboarding presentation and welcome gift. We believe that it’s crucial to address all of your team’s questions, concerns, and needs thoroughly, so we make it a priority to meet with you and your entire team. We value the relationship we have with our clients and believe this gesture is a small way to show our gratitude.
Counselling Sessions
We are one of the few EAP companies that provide a pay-per-service option. We do this to make mental health and well-being care more accessible to small and medium-sized businesses. Counselling sessions are billed at $181.82* per session for individuals and $227.27* per session for couples for face-to-face sessions. If you would like online only, the rates are slightly cheaper.Â
As part of the onboarding process, you will decide how many sessions you would like to allocate per staff member per year (with the average being three) and whether you would like to include family members in the program or not.
Our Custom App
As an extra add-on, you can choose to have access to our Employee Assistance Australia App, which supports you in meeting ongoing legal requirements by addressing psychosocial hazards. Depending on the level of access you require, plans start from as little as $30 per employee per year, depending on the size of your company.
